IronPed’s Detectable Warning Plates comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirement for a tactile warning system for the blind and visually impaired. The series of raised truncated domes are readily detectable underfoot or by a cane. IronPed’s products are cast from long-lasting, hard-wearing, corrosion resistant gray iron. They will last many years with little or no maintenance. The ramps are suitable for a number of uses: pedestrian crossings, train and subway platforms, bus stops, curb ramps, and building access areas.
