Highway Safety Group signs exclusive arrangement with IronPed for distribution of the IronPed (www.ironped.com) dectable warning plates in the Northeast US. Detectable warning plates are also known as truncated domes. Iron Ped manufatures ADA compliant cast iron detectable warning plates for the blind that are installed in sidewalks at intersections.

They are very durable and easy to install, saving the municipality/property owner money at the time of instalation. They have an estimated life of 50 to 70 years. They are made from 80% recycled material, and can be re-used in a future installation, and recycled at the end of their expected life.
